'Tis the Season to paint?

A couple of weekends ago Best friend was in town and she took me to a very special place. In this place you end up buying things that you never knew you wanted but for some reason realize that your house would suck without, that's how I got suckered into my latest obsession - wood painting. The first time I visited this place called Hobby Lobby I purchased a cute flat wooded reindeer to paint as something to keep me busy during the week. Best friend and Husband had no idea that an innocent trip to Hobby Lobby would end up costing Husband more than he wanted. So I present to you my Christmas decorations. For this holiday going to the Dollar Store was not enough, instead I hand painted the decorations. Yes, be impressed.

The first collection are things that you can use to decorate around the house or hang them outside.

Very nice I know.

I now present to you my next Christmas decoration, my hand painted nativity set. This took me forever to complete but as you can see it was worth every moment.

Yes, I know you are impressed again. I took a picture of the Christmas tree, which is not as amazing cause I didn't paint it myself.

Yes, everything is sitting on top of a A&M trunk which I guess is not very Christmas like.

I'm not going to lie I'm pretty proud of my Christmas decorating, I put a lot of hard work into these babies. I should start a business painting little baby Jesus for a profit, what could be better than that?

Funny story as I was taking out the Christmas tree decorations that I stole from my brother, I mean my brother gave to me, I found a wonderful Merry Christmas sign. I was excited about it because I didn't really want to put one my wooden beauties outside for them to be messed with as Kitty McKitters was during Halloween. Yesterday morning Husband found this outside our door.

The M from Merry and Ch from Christmas were completely destroyed. I guess maybe it's not such a Merry Christmas after all. Husband is convinced that the She Hulk and her spawn were responsible of this. Since it's Christmas and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I am watching them.
