4 snow days, 3 books and 1,000 views

I live in Texas, which is why it's such a big deal when I look outside my window and I see this.

The past 4 days have been pretty interesting with this crazy weather. Yes, I usually stay home anyways but being trapped inside with husband is way different from me staying at home alone. Our snow days have been filled with watching HGTV (thanks to husband) and my obsessive reading to keep me from having to pay attention to the TV.  In 3 days I managed to read 3 books on my Kindle, and now I'm a little sad that I have no other books to read. Most of the day husband just complained that I wasn't paying attention to him but he's the one that got me the Kindle so I wouldn't talk to him at night, what better time to use it that when you are trapped inside your home.

Having experienced my first set of snow days I have realized a couple of things about snow days. First Walgreens is the place to go, apparently they make their employees report to work no matter what. Funny enough husband and I really hate working out, but having these snow days made us go walking to Walgreens twice, both times it was a very happening place. Also for every snow day expect to gain at least 5 pounds, for some reason cold and being trapped at home makes you eat anything you find at home. Sadly, the redbox does not like snow days so don't count on him to provide those cheap DVDs.

In more amazing news I've made it to 1,000 blog views! I am way excited reaching this milestone of my blog life. I feel like I should have a giveaway contest, everyone gets free cake until I reach 2,000 views. Yay! Wait I don't have that much cake. I guess it will be imaginary cake. The whole 1,000 views makes me wonder how many of those page views were me or husband, I bet a good 50%.
