Last Saturday husband and I woke up with a taste for adventure, being father's day weekend we decided at the last minute to head down to Houston to see my fabulous and very wise father. This trip was special because we finally took Rusty out of the house. Who is Rusty you ask?
This story really begins several months ago when husband first went away for business to Tennessee, if you recall I was pretty bummed out about it and but still managed to survive. When husband returned I of course asked for my souvenir, since when I was younger my dad rarely had to go away on business but when he did he always brought something back for everyone. I was clearly expecting husband to follow the same unwritten rules of business travel and bring me something from his trip, but no. The next time husband went to Tennessee on business he learned his lesson and like a good little husband he brought me back a present, he brought me back Rusty. Well he brought me back a fake dog, which is a little rude since I want a real puppy but he doesn't want one. I have to admit that it was pretty cute when husband took out Rusty form his work bag. I ended up naming him Rusty because one of our family friend's have the best dog ever and well this is my best dog ever.
Fast forward to present time or I guess more like last weekend when Rusty finally got to get out of the hosue and start his own adventure so I decided to document his adventure to Houston.

Overall I think Rusty had a fantastic time during his road trip at the parent's house especially since I didn't allow Oscar and Rusty to meet, no that would not be very bad.
Rusty says hello and no I have not totally lost my mind.
