Date Night

I was pretty excited when I found out they were opening a Lego Discovery Land so close to me, because as mentioned before I do like LEGOs. I found out recently that you can't visit the facility unless you are taking a kid there, which I find completely ridiculous and it has to be some kind of discrimination. I mean seriously, just because I don't have a kid does not mean that I should not be able to enjoy my time with the LEGOs. This really enraged me and I was planning on writing a whole blog entry about how it's not fair that I can't do things because I don't have a child, but I forgot.

Fast-forward a couple of weeks and husband decides to take me on a super romantic date out, keep in mind that he only did this because he had been really mean to me the weekend prior to this romantic date. On our romantic date we went to eat at Maggiano's which we both really like and then we went walking around one of the big malls here in the big D when we came across a LEGO store. I was way excited, you can tell in this picture that husband took.

LEGO store + Mrs. Merle = Great Night

And since husband was feeling guilty about being mean he even agreed to buy me some Harry Potter key chains (I really wanted the big $100 dollar Hogwarts castle but he said no). I also only wanted one key chain but since they were buy two get one free I ended up with this Harry Potter LEGO posse.

Dobby, Ron and Harry
Of course, only one key chain made it to my set of keys.
Check out his cool hair...he is so cool, too bad he's not this cool in the movies.

I have to say that overall it was a pretty good date since I got to have Ron, he will follow me everyone now, with his boyish good looks and cute stylish hair, his little LEGO arms and legs even move. I have to say that I am a pretty easy person to impress, but really it's the little things in life that really matter, like tiny LEGO's.
