525,600 Minutes

I can't believe it's already August, it seems like time has gone by so fast, especially since I've been working. It looks like my temp assignment is coming to an end but that's a whole blog post of it's own. We finally moved in to our house and after LOT's of craziness we can finally settled down and can start fully unpacking and making it our own. I have to say there's been a lot of craziness going on lately, from getting the house and moving, to things that were happening relating to my work, it feels like husband and I have had a rough couple of weeks. But, we were so excited to celebrate our anniversary this past Sunday.

Husband and I are a pretty relaxed couple, we are both pretty low maintenance and don't make too big of a deal about things like anniversaries and birthdays. So, we celebrated in our own style. Saturday we had a friend over at the house and played Harry Potter Clue, Yes, we are nerds. Husband surprised me with roses so that was cute of him. On Sunday we woke up early and went to see Captain America, which actually turned out to be much better than I thought. After the movie we went to the mall and did a little bit of shopping to get ready for a wedding in Ft Worth next weekend, which will be in itself part of the anniversary celebration since we are staying in a hotel for the weekend. The rest of the afternoon we spent at home eating cake and me drinking Tang mimosas...yes I said Tang.

Recently husband has been buying the orange powerages which I told him tasted like Tang, since I said that I have not been able to stop thinking about Tang. So he got me some at the store, yay. So cake, tang mimosas, and lot's of tv watching later we had a fabulous night relaxing at our new house. I have to say it was overall a pretty good day. And who knew year old cake would actually taste good.

My awesome creation of fancy champagne and Tang. They were a total success.

Our old cake that ended up being delicious

My pretty flowers : )
