One month later

I have been away from the blog entirely too long. So much has changed since the last time I actually sat down and wrote an update blog that I really don't know where to start. But I guess the really important thing is the announcement of our new family member - Jake.

After four months, the temp assignment that I was working on ended. It was a place that I really enjoyed and I was sad for it to end. In the end I made some friends and really enjoyed my time there. The best part about it is that I got Jake out of it. One of the friends I made is involved with a rescue group in Dallas and with her help we adopted Jake. I've wanted a dog for a while but I was not emotionally prepared for how attached we would become to him. After a weekend of having him at home husband and I knew that we had to have him. So now he is officially a Burrow.

I know the first thing that you guys want to ask if how Rusty gets along with him. Well I admit that Rusty has to spend most of his time in the closet but sometimes he does come out and play.

So I guess you can say things are going pretty good around here. I'm unemployed again but at least this time when I get bored I can bother Jake. I can now feel like a real house wife since we have the big house, although it really needs to be decorated.

I have several differing things that I want to blog about but I will have to come back to those later.
